Enjoy a relaxed private 2-hour boat cruise from Sogndal to the famous Årøy river, one of Norway’s most renowned rivers for salmon fishing. The river flows into the calm and scenic Barsnesfjord, where steep hills and quiet waters create a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a private experience.
From here, we continue out into the Sogndalsfjord toward Fimreite, the site of one of the bloodiest and most significant Viking battles in Norwegian history, fought in 1184.
